Top of the Championship, seven consecutive wins, clean sheet number twelve and 11 points clear of third.
The statistics speak for themselves, we are in a good place. Tuesday night may not have been our finest performance, however a 2-0 win over Hull City ensured our winning run continued and our quest for automatic promotion strengthened.
We were made to work for the three points, the first half mirrored Huddersfield last weekend, we lacked creativity and failed to convert any chances.
The second half showed why we are sat at the summit of the Championship, the deadline broken on 73 minutes. Helder Costa received the ball on the right side from a brilliant Hernandez pass, his cross was turned in by Hull defender De Wijs to give Leeds the lead.
The lead was then doubled from a counter attack, Casilla and Bamford combined to save and clear the ball off the line. Mateusz Klich charged up the right, his cross met by Bamford who saw his effort hit the post. Alioski was on hand to score the rebound.
A goal which saw Elland Road erupt and the players run to Casilla who has been in outstanding form lately.
We are now unbeaten in 10 Championship matches, Cardiff awaits on Saturday which will hopefully extend this to 11.
