However it was Brighouse who took the lead when Beresford beat Johnson at the near post. Leeds looked to respond with Havard shooting across the face of goal and testing the keeper from 25 yards.
Havard then tried her luck from 30 yards before Rebecca Hunt’s shot was deflected for a corner. Brighouse held out and went into half time in the lead.
Brighouse started the second half strongly with a goal from Hannah Freibach to make to 0-2 to the visitors.
Leeds looked to respond with Molly Havard drilling one wide from 25 yards. Rebecca Hunt got Leeds back into the game as she tried her luck from distance.
Brighouse looked to have all but secured the result when Parnham made it 3-1 from close range. Freibach then prodded wide for the visitors before Molly Havard smashed one in from 25 yards to give Leeds hope going into the final 10 minutes.
