Preview: Leeds United v Bristol City

We can perhaps feel a bit more at ease going into tomorrow’s game with Bristol City. A strong performance at Brentford on Tuesday sent a message to the Championship that we are still well and truly in the promotion fight.

There is still a lot of football to be played and I believe Tuesday was a key turning point. The players showed fight, belief and ensured our promotion hopes were kept alight.

Perhaps that’s why Bielsa is adamant to field the same team tomorrow, he believes in his players and whilst mistakes by certain players have proved costly in previous games, a change in team will not be beneficial.

There will be no Tyler Roberts who remains injured and it will be interesting to see if Ian Poveda has impressed in training to take his place on the bench once more.

Bristol have no new injury concerns and will go into this game full of confidence winning 4 out of their last 5 games. However, we have an impressive record loosing just one of our last 15 league games against them.

We go into tomorrow’s fixture second and get promotion back on track…once more.

14 games to go, we’ve got this.
