Preview: Leeds United v Millwall

It’s time to get promotion back on track, a phrase that is becoming familiar with Leeds United at the minute.

Despite been second in the league, our recent form hasn’t inspired confidence and we are all looking for a response from the team when we face Millwall tomorrow. Hopefully the 10 day break will have allowed the players to regroup and the Leeds United we saw earlier in the season will emerge.

With Kalvin Philips suspended, Marcelo Bielsa will have to make changes, Ben White is the likely replacement. Speaking in his press conference he said both Tyler Roberts and Jamie Shackleton are both back in contention, which should hopefully provide some depth on the bench.

Ian Poveda could make his debut after signing from Manchester City last week, a player who could bring a lot to the team so it will be interesting to see how he fits in.

The club announced the loan signing of Jean-Kevin Augustin from Red Bull Leipzig earlier today, another exciting prospect, however he will most likely be watching from the stands tomorrow and be in contention for Wigan on Saturday.

Millwall head into this fixture unbeaten in their last five games and manager Gary Rowett has no fresh injury concerns.

A game that will no doubt prove to be a challenge, a challenge that Bielsa and his squad will have prepared for.

Tuesday night lights awaits.
