Leeds United v Stoke City

Preview: Leeds United v Sheffield Wednesday

Tomorrow sees the return of the league and our first home game of 2020.

After Monday we go into this fixture with confidence and optimism. The Arsenal game showed everybody exactly what Leeds are capable of and we need to bring the same mindset to Elland Road tomorrow.

We can expect Marcelo Bielsa to make some changes to the team that started on Monday night. With Liam Cooper likely to return to the starting line up. We should also welcome back Pablo Hernandez and Jamie Shackleton from injury, both may well start on the bench.

Adam Forshaw remains unavailable however he is expected to return to grass training next week which is a welcome boost

Sheffield Wednesday will be aiming to spoil our party but they will have to do that without striker Steven Fletcher who misses out due to a knee injury.

They go this fixture with a run of three defeats and hopefully we will be sending Gary Monk and team home with defeat number four.

We have 20 games left, no cup distractions and a sole focus on the league.

Let’s do this.
