Preview: Leeds United Women v Durham Cestria

Leeds United Women play host to Durham Cestria this afternoon in the FA Women’s National League.

The game goes ahead today as planned but will take place at Nostell Miners Welfare FC.

Dan O’Hearne’s side go into this game second in the league and looking to keep the pressure on league leaders Barnsley who have seen their fixture postponed.

A win today would see the side go equal on points with Barnsley, with the sides scheduled to meet on Wednesday.

Leeds will be looking to return to winning ways following the defeat to Brighouse Town last week, whilst Durham will be aiming for 5 games unbeaten in the league.

The last game between the two sides saw 6 goals, with Leeds coming out on top with a 4-2 victory with goals from Bridie Hannon, Millie Kenyon and Rebecca Hunt. A repeat of that result today would be a big boost to the side.
