Preview: Manchester United v Leeds United
A new season awaits.
The Leeds United rollercoaster sets off for the 2021/22 Premier League season tomorrow, with the expectations of twists, turns and plenty of drama once more!
After nearly 18 months it will be nice to fully enjoy the matchday experience in person this season and after 17 years watch Leeds United compete in the Premier League again.
An away fixture at a capacity Old Trafford against rivals Man United gets the season underway. Our last fixture against Ole Gunnar Solskjaerβs side saw a goalless draw at Elland Road, Bielsa and his side will be looking to go one better and secure all 3 points this this time around.
Man United will be without a number of key players for the fixture, with Edinson Cavani, Marcus Rashford, Dean Henderson and Jesse Lingard all ruled out through injury and lack of match fitness. Jadon Sancho could be handed his debut after completing his first week of training with the club.
Leeds will be without defender Diego Llorente who is sidelined with a leg injury, but new singing Junior Firpo could make his Premier League debut after overcoming an injury sustained in pre-season.
The game promises to be an entertaining one and hopefully it sees three points coming back over the Pennines.
In Bielsaβs team we trust.
