Preview: Swansea City v Leeds United
“Brentford need to hope that we don’t win”.
It was nice to hear some perspective from Gjanni Alioski earlier this week, and it’s that kind of mentality that will guide us back to the Premier League.
We are not chasing teams down, they are chasing us down, the players are confident in their ability and all we can do is focus on ourselves and our results.
Only 4 games of the season remain and a win against Swansea City today will further cement our place at the top of the Championship and edge us closer to promotion.
After such a strong performance on Thursday, it will be interesting to see if Marcelo Bielsa chooses the same starting XI or opts to involve Pablo Hernandez from the start.
Swansea go into the fixture just outside the play offs, they have been enjoying a good run of form having lost just 2 of their last 11 home games. Head Coach Steve Cooper has no new injury worries, with Jordon Garrick available for selection after serving a three-match suspension.
It will no doubt be a test of our stamina, but a test we will be ready for.
In Leeds United we trust.
